The Fanwood Historic Preservation Commission was established by ordinance to assist the Borough in the identification of resources of historic significance and to advise all Borough agencies regarding goals and techniques of historic preservation.
The Historic Preservation Commission generally meets the first Thursday of each month (with the exception of July, August and December) at the Fanwood Community House, 230 North Avenue, at 7:30 PM.
The museum welcomes visitors and is open from 2-4 p.m. for visitors on the first Sunday of each month. Groups can also arrange tours through the commission.
