The Concerned Citizens Against Pilgrim Pipeline (CAPP) will be conducting a seminar at the Edison Public Library on Tuesday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. The workshop, titled “Landowner Rights Workshop: What to Know When Approached by an Oil Pipeline Company”, aims to educate homeowners on their rights when asked by pipeline companies  for their permission to conduct land surveys.

The workshop will be led by Pipeline Safety Coalition’s Executive Director Lynda Farrell.  The event is open to anyone who wants to learn about pipelines, and especially “hazardous liquids” oil pipelines and how they impact our communities. The Edison Public Library is located at 777 Grove Avenue in Edison. For more details on CAPP, visit their website at stoppilgrimpipeline.com.

The Pilgrim Pipeline is a proposed above-ground, two-way petroleum pipeline that would pass directly through Fanwood. The Fanwood Borough Council opposes the Pilgrim Pipeline and has joined other communities in fighting it.
