Union County Commissioner Kim Palmieri-Mouded today presented the Fanwood Council with checks for three County grants for public project enhancements totaling $86,375.
The three grants awarded by Union County are:
- $30,000 Kids Recreational Trust Fund grant for the installation of a Gazebo and upgrades to the playground at Forest Road Park
- $55,000 Preserve Union County grant for replacement and repairs of the existing roof at the Fanwood Carriage House
- $1,375 Greening of Union County grant for tree programs
“I’d like to thank the Board of Commissioners for once again supporting the projects that mean so much to us,” said Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr.
