A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for our area from 7 p.m. Saturday evening through 11 a.m. Sunday morning Heavy mixed precipitation is possible with total snow and sleet accumulations between 3 and 5 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze possible. Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Only travel if absolutely necessary and if you have to drive do so slowly and use extreme caution.
Park vehicles off streets and in driveways to allow for the DPW to plow streets and parking lots. Residents are reminded to shovel and clear snow/ice from their sidewalks. Make sure snow is cleared from your vehicles as well.
