Founded in October of 1998, the Fanwood Community Foundation owes its inception to four prominent Fanwood residents, Bob and Carol Kraus, Fred Chemidlin and Ted Frankenbach, whose vision it was to better the Fanwood community through initiative and generosity.
For the past 18 years the Foundation has been providing support to many local community organizations. With an endowment fund of more than $150,000.00 the Foundation offers a vehicle for public spirited donors to use their gifts to benefit those in most need. Our grants have gone to support the Fanwood Volunteer Fire Department, Fanwood TV-35, and Fanwood Library, the Center for Women and Families and Resolve Community Counseling.

The Foundation continues to grow through wise investment decisions, charitable remainder trusts and memorial gifts. Please consider remembering the Fanwood Community Foundation in your estate planning allowing your contributions to keep giving for years to come. We are always looking for new members from the Fanwood community to join us as we continue our mission to grow the culture of giving. You can contact the Foundation at fanwoodcommunityfoundation.org.
