For over a decade the Scotch Plains/Fanwood community has joined together to remember, learn and give time on MLK Day. The 16th annual Scotch Plains-Fanwood Martin Luther King Day of Service will be held on Monday, January 20. The opening program will begin at 10 a.m. at the YMCA,1340 Martine Avenue in Scotch Plains. The Opening Program, which begins at 10 am, includes a performance by the SPF Community Choir, a community fair followed by volunteer opportunities from 11 am to 5 pm.
