(Fanwood, NJ) – A beautiful yet hot spring night resulted in a large turnout at Thursday’s 12th annual Fanwood Ladies Night Out featuring music and shopping. The first 250 ladies who registered for the event received a free goody bag.

Local merchants from around the area set up shop in around the South Avenue Plaza, behind Jessica’s Restaurant, between Fanwood Crossing I and II. The event is sponsored by the Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce and the Borough of Fanwood.

South Avenue businesses, Monk’Ladies Night Out at the South Avenue Plaza.s Improvements and Design Studio, Fanwood Eye Care, and Enchantments, offered food, wine and specials. Nick’s Pizza and Rocko’s Ice Cream were also open for business as was Fabio’s Bistro, which also delivered a bunch of pizzas to hungry Ladies Night Out shoppers.

A tricky tray auction featured prizes donated by local businesses. JustASoulPhoto.com was on hand for photos and Marklyn “MisterDirect” Johnson turned again as the master of ceremonies.
