Mayor Colleen Mahr was a guest speaker this week at Coldwell Banker’s Meet the Mayor brokers meeting. After a warm welcome from co-managers George Kraus and John Bradley, Mayor Mahr and Director of Economic Development Liz Jeffery brought the group up to date on some of Fanwood’s recent development projects, new business openings and expansions, park upgrades and more.
As the chart below shows, home values have been steadily and significantly increasing over the last couple of years (5% last year alone) and this will likely continue into the foreseeable future. Partially because the housing market is so tight in general, but also because of the strength of Fanwood as a municipality and the quality of life the town offers for its residents and newcomers.
