The Fanwood Borough Council named Jane Frost-Guzzo the Volunteer of the Month at the Borough’s regular Council meeting on August 21, 2017. Jane is the Vice President of the Board of Trustees of the Fanwood Memorial Library and has volunteered as a trustee at the library for the past eight years.

Jane recently retired as a full-time English teacher, but still volunteers as a teacher of English as a second language. She has helped the Library Board navigate its path along the process of planning a renovation of the library building. Upon receiving the traditional token of appreciation from the Council, a framed print of the historic Fanwood train station, Jane urged all residents to vote YES in November for the referendum question that would approve the state’s borrowing $125 million for much needed renovations to libraries across New Jersey.

Thank you Jane for everything you do in our community!
