Learn How to De-Stress with Reiki Healing, presented by Jennifer Heflin October 18th @ 7:00 pm
Our lives are full of hassles, deadlines and demands. Come to the library and learn how Reiki healing can help you reduce these stresses and expand your creativity. Jennifer Heflin is a Personal Transformation Guide, Usui Reiki Master and Founder of Angels Evolution. Call or stop by the library to reserve your spot.
Enter the Magical World of HARRY POTTER at the NY Historical Society
You can win FIVE FREE tickets to the exciting exhibit, Harry Potter: A History of Magic at the New York Historical Society. The tickets admit two adults and three children at 1:00 pm on November 4th, 2018. To enter, you must be a member of the Friends of the Fanwood or Scotch Plains Library. Entry forms and Friends Membership materials are available at your home library. One entry per family, please. The winner will be drawn on October 16th.
Halloween Tricky Tray for Kids! FREE! Sunday, October 14th @ 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm, ages 5-12
To gain admission, BRING YOUR FANWOOD OR SCOTCH PLAINS LIBRARY CARD. This activity will take place on the library’s main floor. For more information call the Children’s Department (908) 322-4377.
Meet The Harvest Witch on Halloween! October 31st @ 5:00 pm on the Library Lawn
The Harvest Witch is flying into town to help us kick off the annual Fanwood Halloween Parade and Costume Contest. Come meet her on the front lawn of the library.

An immersion, enrichment program for advanced Spanish speakers ages 8 and up, with a focus on literacy and culture. These once-a-month workshops are for kids who already speak Spanish. Games, presentations and activities in Spanish only!
