A Nor ’Easter will bring a prolonged period of strong winds and rainfall to our region throughout the weekend. A wind advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service through 6 am Sunday with sustained winds of 15-30 mph combined with gusts as high as 45 mph. Periods of moderate to heavy rain are expected from Friday night and continuing on and off throughout Saturday and Sunday before tapering off Sunday night with total rainfall of two inches expected. Please note that gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down resulting in a few power outages.
