The Fanwood Police Department has launched a breast cancer awareness campaign beginning Thursday, Oct. 1 to spread the word about Breast Cancer Month (October 2020).

Officers, breast cancer survivors and supporters gathered at Fanwood Borough Hall as each police car will feature a pink ribbon magnet during the month.

Members of the community were on hand to support the effort, including Hayley Kumpf, who attended with her mom, Heather, a cancer survivor, Caren Stephenson, who has participated in many Susan Komen Foundation walks to raise money in honor of her mother, Claire and Fanwood resident, Lorrie Berwick a breast cancer survivor.
