The Borough of Fanwood is seeking a roofing expert to remove and replace the roof at the Administrative Building of the Borough of Fanwood at 75. North Martine Avenue, Fanwood, NJ 07023. Quotes shall be returned to this office as soon as possible, no later than Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
SPECIFICATIONS:
• Completely strip building of all layers of existing asphalt roof shingles down to the existing wood
sheathing
• Cover sheathing using 15lb. roofing felt
• Shingle roof using G.A.F., Class A, Self-Sealing, Fiberglass and Asphalt Roofing Shingles.
• Ice Shield to be installed in all valleys and on all gutter roof edges.
• Re-seal, re-flash and re-caulk wherever necessary.
• All debris to be removed.
• Replace all plumbing vent flashings.
• Replace 4 X 8 plywood sheets as necessary
• Install 4 stationary roof vents.
• Install 20’ of ridge vent.
• Inspect power roof fan for replacement
• NO WORK IS TO BE DONE ON REAR FLAT ROOFS.
