This Women’s History Month, Fanwood celebrates the women who serve our community with dedication and heart. From leadership roles to municipal operations, these women guide the borough while contributing in many ways — as mothers, teachers, social workers, nurses, and community advocates.

Our borough flourishes everyday thanks to leaders like Mayor Colleen Mahr and Council members Gina Berry, Erin McElroy Barker, Katherine Mitchell, and Patricia Walsh. They, along with the entire council, recognize and honor the important contributions of these women, including municipal leaders such as Elizabeth Jeffery, Director of Economic Development, Patricia Celardo, Chief Financial Officer, and Borough Clerk Courtney Agnello, who work behind the scenes to keep Fanwood running smoothly.
Continuing a long tradition of women stepping forward to serve, their leadership, compassion, and commitment strengthen Fanwood every day, helping make our borough welcoming, vibrant, and well-run. We thank you!
