A winter storm warning has been issued for northeast New Jersey from 6 AM Sunday to 6 PM Monday. Heavy snow is expected with total snow accumulations between 11 and 15 inches. Winds gusts as high as 45 mph are possible. The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. The storm could make travel very difficult to impossible. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. The strongest winds are expected Sunday night into Monday.
Please move cars off the street so that Public Works can effectively plow streets from curb to curb. Do not shovel snow into the street. The Borough urges everyone to stay home and off the roads.
