The National Weather Service has issued a winter advisory for Northern New Jersey including eastern and western Union County until midnight tonight. Snow is expected with accumulations between 3 and 5 inches. Motorists should be prepared for slippery road conditions. There may a lull in snowfall activity during the afternoon. Please slow down and use caution while traveling and be careful when walking as surfaces could be slippery.
