Work has begun on this summer’s road improvements project in the Borough of Fanwood. The project is funded through grant awards to the Borough and is part of ongoing efforts to maintain safe, well-functioning local infrastructure.
Locations:
· Waldon Road & Kyte Place
· Graybar Terrace & Watson Road, between N Martine Avenue and Russell Road
Project Scope: Work will include milling and resurfacing the roadway, ADA ramp upgrades, sidewalk and curb repairs as needed, replacement of regulatory signage, and roadway restriping.
Estimated Completion: End of Summer 2026
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Funding: This project is supported by two New Jersey Department of Transportation Local Aid grants totaling $669,629.00 ($346,000.00 and $323,629.00).
Residents will receive additional notice of any specific construction impacts directly from the contractor as work progresses. The Borough thanks residents for their patience during construction.
