Mayor Colleen Mahr hosted the “Coffee with the Mayor” event on Sunday, March 26 at Mara’s Cafe and Bakery. She was met with many residents who came with questions, comments, and concerns regarding the Borough of Fanwood. The purpose of these public meetings are to welcome an transparent narrative between the administration and the public.
Among the topics discussed were plans for downtown redevelopment, taxes, road work, education and other local issues. Members of the Borough Council and Fanwood Chief Financial Officer Fred Tomkins were also on hand to answer questions from the public.
