
NJ TRANSIT RAIL STOPPAGE INFORMATION
NJ TRANSIT — We want to inform you about a potential disruption to NJ TRANSIT rail services due to a potential strike by the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen. If an agreement is not reached, a rail stoppage may occur as early as 12:01 a.m. Friday, May 16th.
Potential Impact:
In the event of a strike, the following would occur:
- Complete Suspension of NJ TRANSIT Rail Services: All commuter trains will cease operations. Please note that bus service and light rail trains will continue to operate on their regular schedules.
- Limited Special Bus Services: Beginning Monday, May 19th, limited bus service will be offered from select park-and-ride locations to major transit hubs.
- Cross-Honoring of Tickets: NJ TRANSIT rail tickets and passes will be cross-honored on all NJ TRANSIT bus and light rail lines. NJ TRANSIT tickets and passes will not be honored on other services (e.g., MTA, SEPTA, PATCO, PATH, etc.)
