A grand opening was held Wednesday, August 28th for Mr. Tech at 222 South Avenue, located across the street from the Fanwood Train Station. Mr. Tech owners, Eugene and Klaudia Oppido, cut the ribbon, held by Mayor Colleen Mahr. Also on hand for the grand opening are Fanwood Councilwoman Trish Walsh and Liz Jeffery, director of economic development for the Borough; Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lew Kimble, Assistant Executive Director Faith Delaney, and Board of Directors President Jim Mooney.

Mr. Tech does computer, iPad, iPhone sales, repairs and offers a wide range of training courses ranging from the casual computer user to intermediate and specialty courses. Mr. Tech formerly operated in as SPTech Shop in Scotch Plains. Business hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 pm.
