We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for students to apply for one of three $1,000 scholarships through the Louis Bay 2nd Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition. This statewide competition invites students to explore the theme “What I Like About My Hometown” while recognizing the vital role of elected and volunteer leaders in local government.
In Fanwood, many of our elected officials and board members serve without compensation, driven solely by their commitment to our community. These selfless individuals, alongside dedicated professionals, work tirelessly to maintain the quality of life we enjoy in our hometown. They are the unseen heroes who dedicate their time, skills, and energy to help shape and protect our community year after year.
This scholarship competition aims to honor their contributions while encouraging the next generation of municipal leaders. We encourage our young adults to participate and share their vision of what makes Fanwood special.
