Now through May 4, the Borough of Fanwood is participating in “Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters,” a nationwide tribute honoring the courage and sacrifice of America’s fire service members.
This initiative is part of the lead-up to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, taking place in May, during which the nation formally honors firefighters who died in the line of duty in the past year. Fanwood’s participation serves as a visible symbol of support and comfort to the families of these fallen heroes, and a reminder of the bravery and dedication of all who serve.
