Ladies Night Out in Fanwood kicked off at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2017, with over 200 women lined up to register and pick up a goody bag filled with coupons for local businesses and tickets to win prizes at a tricky tray raffle. The event, sponsored this year by the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce which represents Fanwood businesses, featured virtually all of Fanwood’s downtown businesses plus some visiting businesses.
The goal each year is to bring walk-in business to Fanwood’s downtown which has enjoyed significant growth over the past several years. Tonight’s event was supported by Mayor Colleen Mahr, Fanwood Business Development consultant Liz Jefferies and several staff and volunteers of the GWACC.
