Please note that Scotch Plains will be paving the Hetfield Avenue Bridge, the portions that cover Scotch Plains and Fanwood, starting on or about Tuesday, July 7, the roadway will be milled, followed by paving on Wednesday, July 8. All work is weather dependent and subject to scheduling changes. The area will be closed to motorists during construction. Message boards have been placed on both approaches to the bridge alerting motorists of the impending roadwork.
