Four Centuries in a Weekend will be happening on Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, October 20th , 2025. A Union County tradition that enables residents and visitors to travel through time and learn about the rich history of our community. This County-wide event showcases more than thirty historic sites,
featuring tours, exhibits and special events, including the Fanwood Museum at the historic 1874 Train

The Fanwood Museum/Train Station is participating on both Saturday, October 19th and Sunday,
October 20th from noon to 4:00 p.m. Highlights will include a Victorian Tea exhibit, history exhibits with
artifacts and photographs of Fanwood over the centuries. Census records going back to the 1930s will
be available so Fanwood homeowners can check who lived in their homes. Also on exhibit will be items
from Fanwood’s history including The Homestead and the Fanwood Oak, among others.
