Mayor Colleen Mahr was joined Monday night by Senate President Nick Scutari, Borough Council members, Recreation Commissioners, Borough officials and Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School athletic department representatives at a ribbon cutting marking the completion of the refurbished tennis courts at LaGrande Park. The courts were resurfaced with new nets installed along with new dual garbage/recycling receptacles and benches. The LaGrande basketball courts were also resurfaced with the funding. The Borough would like to thank state Senator Scutari for securing funding for this project through a state appropriation grant.
