The Fanwood Police Department has announced the launch of a new Pet Registry Program designed to enhance the chances of reuniting lost pets with their owners quickly and efficiently. This innovative program allows pet owners to submit a completed registration form along with photographs of their pets and basic contact information. If a missing animal is found, the Fanwood Police Department will first consult this pet registry to identify and contact the pet’s owner before involving Animal Control.
Pet owners are encouraged to participate by completing the registration form and submitting clear photographs of their pets, including any unique identifiers such as scars or spots. You can also pick up the form at K9 Resorts, the Fanwood Animal Hospital, or the Fanwood Police Department.
