For the last 22 years, the Fanwood Community Foundation has been providing support to local community organizations. This past year, their grants went to support the Fanwood Volunteer Fire Department, the Tiny Tim Fund, Fanwood Rescue Squad, and Contact We Care. In addition, FCF ran a virtual food drive to help our local food banks who were in desperate need of food and funds. Through social media, and with generous donations from neighbors, FCF raised $3600 for the Community Foodbank of NJ and donated an additional $2020, as a matching donation, directly to the IHM Food pantry in Scotch Plains.
