Fanwood’s unique Poetry Series celebrated its 20th anniversary on Tuesday evening, November 8, 2018, with live music, special guests and of course, poetry at the Carriage House. The event was hosted by Adele Kenney, Fanwood’s Poet Laureate and founder of the Poetry Series, along with her poetry partner Tom Plante.
For 20 years, poets and poetry lovers have gathered at the Carriage House to read poetry and celebrate the written word. Mayor Colleen Mahr presented Adele and Tom with proclamations from the Borough and the State Legislature. Brian Celardo provided live music and guests enjoyed light snacks and champagne.
