Recently, NJ.com reported on a story of a 102-year-old man who recently became the world’s oldest skydiver. Kenny Meyer, born right here in Fanwood, broke the world record last week for becoming the oldest man in the world to go sky diving, recently beating out a 101-year-old British man who set the record back in May.

Mr. Meyer is a life-long resident of Union County and raised his family in the surrounding areas. We are proud that Mr. Meyer’s roots began right here in Fanwood and we want to congratulate him on his latest milestone! When asked if he would ever sky-dive again, NJ.com reported that Mr. Meyer had his doubts, but intermittently said “But maybe when I’m 105” with a laugh.
