Daniel Hudspith was sworn in tonight as a Fanwood police officer at the Borough Council’s monthly agenda meeting.

The oath of office was administered by Council President Anthony Carter. Officer Hudspith’s fiancé, Tiffany Taylor, held the bible.

Hudspith, a resident of the Long Valley area of Washington Township, Morris County, has six years of law enforcement experience, most recently in Pennington. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in sociology and is an active reservist with the U.S. Air Force as an E7 Master Sargent.

In addition to his fiancé, his two brothers, Nick and Jack, niece Isabel, mother Patricia Taylor and stepfather Reginald Matthews were in attendance.
