VACCINATION PROGRAM

New Jersey’s COVID-19 Vaccination program is underway, with a goal to vaccinate 70% of the adult population – or 4.7 million adults – within six months. Vaccinations will be delivered in a phased program and the timing will depend on the supply of vaccines to the state. Those currently eligible to receive the vaccination are individuals ages 65 and older, persons 18-64 with high-risk medical conditions, uniformed police officers, firefighters, health care workers and others identified in Group 1A. While vaccination is encouraged, no one will be forced to receive the vaccine.
