A Message from Mayor Mahr

Earlier today the state reported another 3,088 positive COVID-19 cases, bringing the statewide total to 47,437. Union County has confirmed 410 new cases and 30 additional deaths as of today for a total of 4,831 positive cases and 125 deaths. Fanwood remains at a total of 25 cases with 2 deaths. Below you will find an up-to-the-minute tracker of test results statewide.

Please be sure to keep your eye on your neighbors, if you or anyone is struggling to meet their daily needs or access to required resources, please e-mail me directly at mayor@fanwoodnj.org.

And in other news, Fanwoodian response rate for the Census is excellent at 62%. With Union County, at 46.4% overall we are doing great! I urge all Fanwoodians to respond to the census questionnaire as soon as possible to ensure 100% participation. An accurate count means that Fanwood will receive our fair share of funding, services, and congressional representation over the upcoming decade. For more information on responding to the census go to https://fanwoodnj.org/the-2020-census-starts-soon/
