Join us each Monday evening through the Summer for a fun performance on the front lawn of the Fanwood Memorial Library. Bring a blanket or beach chair and enjoy the night. In case of rain or extreme heat, join us inside on the main level of the Library from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Remember the Library closes at 8. Come early to check out materials. All events are sponsored by the Friends of Fanwood Memorial Library.

July 2 – City Winds Trio Tonight’s concert will include classical (Peter and the Wolf), ragtime, and American patriotic favorites. This is an interactive musical experience for children
July 9 – Subway Singers & twin brothers Amiri & Rahiem Taylor of Blac Rabbit perform acoustic versions of Beatles favorites.
July 16 – Drum Circle with Richard Reiter Participants drum together in this exhilarating and unifying activity. Reiter studied African drumming in Senegal and he brings many drums and percussion instruments for everyone to use (but bring yours if you have some). No musical training is necessary!. Richard Reiter is a nationally acclaimed jazz musician and Emmy Award winning composer.
July 23 – The Wollman/Gannon Quartet Ethan Wollman is an 18 year old pianist from Fanwood, NJ. Ethan has been involved in the Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra the last two years and has performed at venues like Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, NJPAC and Mondo in Summit. He will be attending Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California next year to study with Alan Pasqua. Patrick Gannon is an 18 year old saxophonist from Scotch Plains, NJ. He currently studies with Mike Lee. He has performed at Dizzy’s Club Coca- Cola, the SUNY Purchase PAC and at Montclair State University. He will be studying with Vince Herring next year at William Patterson.
