The Borough of Fanwood is excited to launch a new initiative that will provide a variety of enjoyable, community activities in Downtown Fanwood on Saturday mornings! “Saturday Mornings in the Plaza” will be held at the Fanwood Plaza, between Fanwood Crossing I and II, weather permitting, for 8 weeks in the spring and 8 weeks in the fall.
“Saturday Mornings in the Plaza” events are free and open to the public! Local organizations, groups or artists will be featured each week and will sponsor activities that may include, Tai Chi, children’s story time, knitting lessons, coffee cafes, bingo and more!
Mayor Mahr’s office is soliciting the actives and will be creating spring and fall schedules, which will be advertised on the Fanwood website site, on social media and the eNewsletter.
As noted in the flyer above, this Saturday, June 9th, Play Theater will be joining us for our Saturday Morning in the Plaza series from 10-11:30 a.m.!
If your child has an interest in show biz, wants to experience what a real theater class might be like, or just wants to break out of their shell, bring them this Saturday to the Fanwood Plaza! It’s free for all to attend. We hope to see you there!
