(Fanwood, NJ) — Panini Bistro held a ribbon cutting on Saturday, January 25, at its newest location, 226 South Avenue in Fanwood, across from the Fanwood Train Station. The location was the previous home of the Seng Couture dress shop.
The Fanwood store is owned by Sal LoGrande, Maria LoGrande, Eleanora and Joe Tramontana, and Nick and Sasha LoGrande. The restaurant serves paninis, subs, wraps, burgers, soups, wings and even deserts and is open from 10:30 am until 8 pm seven days a week.
Mayor Colleen Mahr, Council President Patricia Walsh, Councilwoman Erin McElroy Barker and Councilman Jeff Banks attended the ribbon cutting as did Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lew Kimble.
“Thank you for finding us (Fanwood) and thank you for taking this space and transforming it into something really beautiful and for bringing food choices to Fanwood,” Mayor Mahr said in welcoming the restaurant to Fanwood.
Panini Bistro was founded in 2020 by brothers Anthony and Paul Aiello. They own the other three locations in Spotswood, Matawan, and Manalapan.
“To the wonderful people of Fanwood, thank you for embracing us as part of your community. We look forward to serving you for many years to come,” Paul Aiello said.
