Winter Storm Update: January 26 at 10:00am

Public Works crews continue to clear borough roadways following the recent winter storm. Throughout the day crews will be clearing sidewalks at borough-owned properties.

Sidewalk Reminders: To ensure the safety of pedestrians, please remember that per Section 259-22 of the Borough Code, owners or tenants must clear all snow and ice from sidewalks within 12 hours of daylight after the storm ends.

Important: When clearing your property, please do not shovel snow into the street. This creates hazardous conditions and requires Public Works to re-plow areas that have already been cleared. We thank you for your patience as our crews continue to work.
